LARBON LogoLARBON Stair Steps with continuous lamella (EGP = Edge Glued Panels))

The advantage of stair step panels with continuous lamellas in the non-industrial quality optics (without fingerjoinings in length, "long lamellas").

In order to exploit the timber as possible, the panels are available in lengths from 900mm to max. 4000mm in lengths steps of 100mm (900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm 4000mm ......). As long lengths can be reached only with difficulty, prices rise significantly with increasing length.

Moisture:

At the end of production, the moisture content is about 8 + / -2%, which corresponds to the equilibrium moisture content for use in enclosed spaces with a healthy indoor climate of 20 ° C / 55% humidity.

Gluing:

All Solid wood panels / glued panels are with brands tested glues the stress class D3 - according EN 204 (PVAC = formaldehyde-free white glue) glued. Areas of application are indoor areas with frequent short-term exposure to running or condensed water and / or exposure to high humidity. Outdoor areas, protected from the weather. On request, the gluing of the class D4 is possible.

Storage:

During transport or storage of solid wood panels, it can lead to moisture absorption.During storage and processing is therefore essential to ensure a uniform climate. It should be stored in closed, not be too dry or too damp rooms. The solid wood panels should be covered and just be fully supported. Note that the shrinkage and swelling capacity is about 0.6% per 1% change in wood moisture. Before further processing of solid wood panels, therefore, is to recommend an air-conditioning on the appropriate use of moisture.

Surfaces:

All Solid wood panels / glued panels are sanded with 100 grit. 80 grit or 120 if desired. This makes it possible to oil the plates depending on the desire to grow or paint. The top and bottom should in general have the same surface structure in order to avoid a possible delay.
